Mali (“we”, “us”) is a gardening companion app made by Keeda Studios. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and human.
What we collect
- Your garden data — the plants, beds and layouts you create, and your care history (watering, feeding, notes). This is what makes Mali and Sidney useful.
- Location — a coarse location (with your permission) so we can fetch the weather for your garden. You can use Mali without it, but frost and rain alerts won’t be personalised.
- Account basics — sign-in details (e.g. email or a provider ID) so your garden syncs across devices.
- Diagnostics — anonymous, aggregated crash and usage data to fix bugs and improve the app.
How we use it
To run your garden, power Sidney’s advice, send the weather and care reminders you’ve asked for, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.
AI features
Sidney’s answers are generated using AI. Relevant context about your garden (plants, weather, recent care) may be sent to our AI providers to produce a specific response. We don’t use your private garden content to train third-party models.
Your rights
You can access, export or delete your data at any time. Under GDPR and CCPA you have rights over your personal information — email us and we’ll help. See Delete Your Account to remove everything.
